Because many of CAA programs are paused during the Summer, we had family trip at Camp Herald. It was a great opportunity for family engagement and enjoying the wonderful nature we rarely experience in the city. The group games, archery and waterfront activities also allowed the families to take part in more active activities.
It is that time of the year! CAA Achievement Ceremony was held in PS 124 to acknowledge all the achievements of the children and the parents as great participators and caregivers! We had performances from the mom’s group, a slideshow, and different exhibitions showing the children’s hard work from this year.
CAA had their first Chinese New Year Family Carnival on 2/13/16. Even though it was very cold outside, we were warmed by the smiles from our families and volunteers! Thank you for joining us for the performances, refreshments, game booths and photo booth! Hope to see you next year!
Center of All Abilities yearly creative arts show is an important part of showing the amazing achievements of our children in the program. The creative arts show was not only an art exhibition but also encouraged conversations about how creative arts can help children with autism express themselves better.
